At EICMA 2025 in Milan, Innocenti SA marked a moment that reached far beyond the walls of an international exhibition. It was not only a presentation, not only a brand announcement, and not only a look toward future mobility. It was a symbolic return to origin.
── Three names · one origin
In the halls of Fiera Milano Rho, three historic names stood together again.
Only a short distance from the Milanese cradle of Innocenti, Lambretta and Lambro, three historic names stood together again: Innocenti, Lambretta and Lambro.
For those who know the story, the place mattered. Milan was not just the host city. Milan was the memory, the birthplace, the industrial landscape where these names first became part of Italian design, engineering and everyday life.
The former Innocenti works in Lambrate were home to the halls of Lambretta scooters and Lambro light transporters, and the Lambro river itself ran close to the factory site, giving its name and spirit to both Lambretta and Lambro.
01 The Lambretta logo returns
A Milanese symbol, back in the spotlight.
During the event, Innocenti SA reintroduced the Lambretta J and Elettra S, bringing one of Italy’s most recognizable mobility symbols back into the spotlight under the historic Innocenti name.
The moment carried a powerful emotional weight. The Lambretta models are more than just scooters. They represent an extension of the optimism of post-war Italy, the elegance of Milanese design, the energy of urban freedom, and the millions of riders who turned a scooter into a cultural icon.
Seen again in Milan, close to the place where the story began, the logo became a bridge between past and future: a reminder of where Innocenti came from, and a statement of where the brands are going next.
02 The return of Lambro
A new chapter, announced for EICMA 2026.
At the same occasion, Innocenti SA released the news that the Lambro project is moving toward completion, with the launch planned for EICMA 2026.
For Lambro, this announcement opens a new chapter in a story that began as practical, hardworking Italian mobility. The original Lambro was not only a vehicle. It was a companion to small businesses, craftsmen, families and cities. It carried goods, tools, ambitions and daily life.
Bringing the Lambro project forward today is therefore not an act of nostalgia. It is a continuation of purpose. It means taking the same spirit of intelligent, compact, accessible mobility and preparing it for a new age.
03 Three names · one heritage
A reunion worthy of a shared history.
The union of Innocenti, Lambretta and Lambro at EICMA 2025 created a rare historical moment. For decades, these names have lived in memory, collections, clubs, workshops and archives around the world.
Enthusiasts preserved the machines. Collectors protected the details. Riders kept the spirit alive. But in Milan, at EICMA 2025, the three names were brought together again in a setting worthy of their shared history.
This was especially meaningful because the event took place 12 km from Lambrate, the Milan district that formed the industrial heart of the Innocenti story — an ecosystem of engineering, manufacturing, design, labour and ambition.
04 A Milanese story renewed
Heritage finding its voice again.
EICMA has always been a place where the motorcycle and mobility world looks forward. In 2025, it also became a place to look back with pride. The 2025 edition gathered more than 730 exhibitors, 2,000 brands and 50 countries, confirming Milan’s role as a global stage for two-wheel mobility.
Against that background, the Innocenti moment stood apart because it carried a deeper meaning. It was not just about new products or a future launch. It was about continuity. It was about heritage finding its voice again.
Three names, born from the same industrial family, appearing together once more near the place where that family first shaped modern Italian mobility.
